'I had THE most wonderful time even though I'm not a road cyclist. Hotels were excellent, one blew me away. First - intro day was hilly, routes were mainly rural and bike routes . There were some navigational issues but I averaged 30-35 miles per day in 25-30 degrees, I set the pace and could stop when and where I wanted to admire the view -the countryside was glorious.' Jane Leigh
'Thanks again for sorting things out at the uk end. I will be recommending your services to friends.'

|Route Details||Day 1: Arrival in Playa de Palma
From the airport take a taxi to your arrival hotel (confirmed nearer the time) approx. 10 km.
Day 2: Playa de Palma – Colònia Sant Jordi approx. 55 km
After a welcome briefing, tour information and distribution of the rental bicycles, the first day's ride follows the coast to Capocorp Vell, passing the Realm of the Cyclops (remainders of ancient settlements). Traditional Majorcan windmills line the road to the salt fields of Llevant with its pink and white shimmering salt lakes. Arriving at Sant Jordi you're welcomed by sandy beaches and crystal clear water.
Day 3: Colònia Sant Jordi – Porto Cristo/surrounding approx. 55 km
Today's route leads via Ses Salines to 'Botanicactus', one of Europe's largest botanical gardens. Visiting the picturesque bay of Cala Santanyi, you will then ride through fishing villages to the famous natural "Es Pontas" bridge to Porto Cristo and the bizarre rock formations of the Dragon Caves.
Day 4: Porto Cristo/surrounding – C’an Picafort approx. 60 km
A fabulous day cycling through sleepy hamlets to Manacor - the city famous for its beads and pottery. Your journey will then take you through Petra (a typical Majorcan lunch snack will be prepared) and Santa Margalida to C'an Picafort.
Day 5: Port de Pollenca/Alcúdia approx. 45 km
No need to pack the suitcase today as you will stay another night in C'an Picafort. Follow a circular route through the nature reseve at S'Albufera, to the bay of Pollenca (originally a Roman harbour). Later, continue further along the coast until you reach Alcúdia (the oldest town of the island) before heading back to C’an Picafort.
Day 6: C’an Picafort – Port de Sóller*** approx. 50 km + bus transfer
Via Muro and Inca, you'll cycle through the island's interior to the beautiful mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana. After a bus transfer through the Tramuntana Mountains to the monastery at Lluc (sightseeing possible) you will ascend to 1200 m above sea level, and then enjoy a beautiful descent via Fornalutx (known as one of 'the most beautiful fishing villages of Spain') to Port de Soller. Here, you will be served a Paella dinner, (already included in the tour price!).
Day 7: Port de Sóller – Playa de Palma approx. 10 km + train transfer
Using the old-fashioned 'Red Thunderbolt' train you'll travel through the Valley of Oranges ( the picking of fruit during the ride is prohibited!) down to the capital, Palma. Afterwards you'll join a guided sightseeing tour of the beautiful old town. Then it's time to cycle the last few kilometres along the coast to the final hotel stop in Playa de Palma.
Day 8: Departure from Palma or extension of trip!
